Bella Favela (Elsa) is the daughter of Mexican parents and the oldest of 3 children.  Bella Favela was born in Oakland, California.  At the age of 8, her family moved to Chicago where she began participating in school talent shows and taking Hawaiian and Mexican folkloric dancing classes.  As a young child, she enjoyed putting on performances and always being in the spotlights, so as a teenager, she began participating in beauty pageants. This was the start of her career as an aspiring model and in time, an aspiring actress.  During her 5-year tenure as a participant of local beauty pageants, she began doing commercials and announcements for Univision and Telemundo.  At age 21, she signed up with her first talent agency, expanding her experience and exposure to this industry doing runway fashion shows, print and commercial work for clients such as McDonalds, K-Mart, Walgreens, Boeing, GM, Batteries Plus, Sensodyne, amongst many more.  During her mid-20's, she began identifying with TV Show hosting and began developing on-camera skills that would lead her to host for local music video TV shows like Variadisimo and Musica Latina.  She graduated from Dominican University with a Bachelors of Art in Business Administration and Communications.  She then moved on to do an internal TV Show pilot for McDonald's, and then another for VME.  In her late twenties, she took an interest in polishing her acting skills by taking acting classes at Act One Studio and then Improv at Second City, Chicago.  After her recent move to LA in January of 2005, she immediately began her acting training with The Beverly Hills Playhouse and continues to pursue her career as the next new Latina Face of Hollywood.
