
Franco Reins (George) was born in Colombia, and living in Chicago since 1992. Actor and Singer-Songwriter, Franco began acting in a TV show in Colombia in 1992 and then continued his career with Aguijón Theater Company since 2001, where he has participated in the plays "Un Almirante para la Mar Océana" as "Rey Fernando de Aragón"; "Johnny Tenorio" as "Don Juan"; "Blood Wedding" as "Father of the bride"; and "Perversions" as Mr. Lenteja. In 2002 he acts in the movie "Haciendo el Amor... Brujo" in the role of "Carlos", directed by Uruguayan director Ricardo Islas; in 2003 acts in the short film "The Incorruptible of Bell and Devon" as "Father García"; and in 2004 in Bloom. During this time he also participates in different commercials for Latin TV. As a singer he participates in homage to Federico Garcia Lorca, Miguel Hernandez and Pablo Neruda. His first CD "es lujuria y es amor" was released in 2003, and toured in Cartagena de Indias and Bucaramanga, Colombia, Miami and Chicago. His second CD, "Ramón" will be out in late 2005.
