Lucia Muñoz was born in Naperville, Illinois in 1981. She is the third child of four children.  Lucia is of Puerto Rican and Mexican descent.

She received her Bachelors in Fine Arts Degree in Acting from Northern Illinois University in May of 2003.  Her intensive undergraduate acting training included studying the Meisner Technique under the direction of former Sanford Meisner student Kathryn Gately-Poole.  Some of Lucia's past theatre credits include: Bodas de Sangre, A Servant of Two Masters, Marisol, Guys and Dolls, and the world premiere of Norodom Sihanouk King of Cambodia among many more. She also performed at The Latino Theatre Festival held at The Goodman Theatre in 2003 and 2004.  Lucia is a hardworking and a passionate individual who continues to aggressively pursue her career. She is currently a working actress in Chicago.  Lucia is consistently auditioning for commercials, industrials, voiceovers, pilots, films, and some theatre. She is currently a member of The American Federation of Television and Radio Artists and will soon be joining the Screen Actors Guild.  Lucia will be moving to L.A. in the near future to continue pursuing her acting career in the film/television industry.
